Weather Policy

– If the air temperature is below 65* the pool will be closed.

– If there is thunder or lightning in the area, guests will need to leave the pool area for 30 minutes. If thunder or lightning continues, the pool may need to close for the day.

- Pool may close at Director’s discretion when weather could be an issue.

Guidelines

ALL Members/Patrons must follow River Community Pool guidelines at all times.

ALL Memberships are for the guest who the pass was originally purchased for and are non-transferable.

Children MUST be accompanied by an older sibling or adult guardian (18 or older), except for events where there is explicit supervised care by a pool/church staff member (Middle-School Swim Nights/VBS/Daycares, etc.)

ALL Children Members MUST pass a Swim Test once per season. Upon completion of the swim test, they will receive a mark on their pass to indicate passing the Swim Test.

Lifeguards reserve the right to require a swim-test to all patrons at any point.

As all Lifeguards and Pool Staff receive training and are ultimately concerned with the safety of its patrons, ALL Members/Guests are required to follow their directions.

The following are not allowed in the Pool Area: Running, shoulder riding, fighting, pushing, offensive language, Glass Containers, Alcohol, Smoking, Skateboards, Bicycles, Fireworks, Explosives, Rafts, tubes, large floating devices, inappropriate use of facilities, misuse of equipment/décor/materials items belonging to River Community Pool at 7130 Ralston Ave Raytown, MO 64133.

Possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages and possession or consumption of medical or recreational marijuana on pool premises is prohibited, including parking lot.

Illegal drugs within the pool or on the property, are prohibited. 

Smoking or vaping within the pool fenced area is prohibited. 

Violation of these rules is grounds for removal from the pool property without a refund.

Adult must be present at all times, 21 years or older. (For Parties)

No refunds on Party no shows. Reschedules only allowed for weather, some situations can be evaluated by director for refunds.

GENERAL POLICIES

In order to provide you with an excellent experience and inform you of all of our wonderful events. River Community Pool does send information regarding events, sales and community information. If at any point you no longer wish to receive communication, you reserve the right to reply STOP to all future communications.

We are always looking to better our Center and our Service, please submit suggestions or complaints in writing and signed, along with a phone number and hand in to the front desk, or via email.

The River Pool holds no responsibility for personal items that are not logged into our Lost and Found Center. If an item goes unclaimed for more than 30 days, they will be disposed of. 

Upon the sound of thunder the pool will be immediately cleared for 30 minutes and will close the pool for the remainder of the day if thunder strikes 3 times or more within a 2 hour window. River Community Pool is not responsible for weather and will not issue refunds if the pool closes prior to our labeled hours.

RIVER COMMUNITY POOL Holds Certifications with Red Cross and AFO and is NRPA and ADA compliant for Aquatics Facilities. As such, all of our facilities, staff requirements and Lifeguard management, we ask that you comply with our above rules both for your safety and the safety of other patrons of 7130 Ralston Ave Raytown, MO 64133 

MEMBERS WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE AND CHARGED FOR DAMAGE OR DEFACEMENT OF ANY MATERIALS OR THE GENERAL POOL PROPERTY.

LIFEGUARDS OR STAFF WILL HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO BAN VIOLATORS, FROM THE POOL GROUNDS FOR A SPECIFIED LENGTH OF TIME.

REPEATED VIOLATIONS OF ANY OF THE ABOVE WILL BE DOCUMENTED.

ANY MEMBER WITH DOCUMENTED WARNINGS MAY HAVE THEIR PASS PRIVILEGES REVOKED. IF A MEMBER POSES EXTREME THREAT TO SAFETY OF STAFF OR PATRONS, THEY WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE PREMISES AND PASS PRIVILEGES REVOKED WITHOUT NEED OF PRIOR DOCUMENTATION.

I acknowledge that I have read the above and accept all of the conditions and requirements that the River Community Pool requires. I also understand that all of its staff are practicing their due diligence and safety measures implemented on them by the state and Federal Law. I understand that with any activity there is risk of loss be it: financial, material, limb or life. By signing (which you did at the time of purchasing pool pass) I state that I trust the River Community Pool and all of its staff within are practicing their due diligence and will not hold them responsible should the above matters occur.
